Homelessness charity, Emmaus Bradford received hands-on help from Evri, the biggest parcel delivery company in the UK. Evri has been a corporate partner of Emmaus UK since 2020, since then more than £127,000 has been raised through fundraising by Evri’s people and cash donations from the business.
Staff from the delivery company came to Emmaus Bradford’s site to help decorate in preparation for more companions to join. The Pollard Lane site supports people who have experienced homelessness by providing a home, meaningful work, and a sense of belonging.
The Evri team, based at its Morley location also made donations of toiletries and bedding which are used as part of accommodation packages for the new companions in the community.
