What Solidarity means to Emmaus
Solidarity is all about helping other less fortunate than ourselves. As a community we stand together to support one another and those in need. Thanks to the crucial support from people who donate preloved goods or donate to our cause, we’re proud to support people who are struggling.
Emmaus International
Emmaus Cambridge is part of an international movement against poverty. Emmaus International is made up of over 400 Emmaus groups, located in over 40 counties, all working to help the most excluded and tackling the causes of poverty.

Road Closure
The A10 will be closed from the Research Park roundabout to the Denny End Road junction on the first three weekends in September — from 8pm on Friday to 4am on Monday — for the Mere Way bridge installation. An additional closure — from the Denny End Road junction to the Car Dyke Road junction — will take place at the same time to allow Cambridgeshire County Council to undertake essential works at the Denny End Road junction.
The weekend closures will enable 24-hour working, with the bridge lifted into place on the first weekend (7/8 September) and the installation being completed during the following two weekends. More information and the diversion route, can be found at https://www.cambridgeshire.gov.uk/residents/travel-roads-and-parking/roads-and-pathways/roadworks-and-faults/roadwork-and-traffic-information
