We are able to accept donations of good-quality items every Wednesday – Sunday, 10am – 3pm.
We’re really grateful to everyone who donates their furniture, clothing, homewares, bric-a-brac and more to us, as this all helps to fund the work we do with the formerly homeless people who now live and work with us here at Emmaus Cambridge.
As it costs us money to dispose of broken or unusable items, we ask that you only drop items to us if they are in working order and aren’t damaged. We would like to thank all of our amazing supporters, we hope our donation suspension doesn’t create too much inconvenience! It’s thanks to your donations that we are able to continue working towards reducing homelessness in Cambridge.
When you donate to Emmaus Cambridge, you have a direct impact on the lives of the individuals who live and work in our community.
We accept pre-loved furniture, household items, clothing, white goods, garden furniture, glassware, textiles, crafts, electronics, and much more. All items must be in a good saleable condition. We are no longer able to accept donations of CDs and DVDs
If in doubt about the condition of your item, or if you wish to arrange for your items to be collected, please call 01223 863 657 or email us at collections@emmauscambridge.org.

We are extremely grateful to for all the donations we receive, however, due to high waste disposal costs and trading standards, there are some items we are unable to accept. We’re currently unable to do any repairs, reupholstering or cleaning of items so please ensure any donations are clean and are immediately saleable.
Did you know that unlike some charity shops, we can accept some electrical items? That is because we PAT and function test everything to ensure it works properly and is safe to use before we sell it in our shop.
