We invite you to join us for our free community BBQ on Thursday, 12 June, to celebrate our 30th anniversary.
The BBQ is free to attend but tickets need to be downloaded here before the event (or you can pick up a ticket in our shop). Tickets are limited.
We have spent the past three decades supporting individuals who have experienced homelessness, and we are hosting the event to thank the people of Dover and the surrounding areas for their ongoing support.
We provide a home, meaningful work, training, and tailored support for up to 27 people who have previously experienced homelessness. Through our social enterprise and supportive community model, we offer more than just a roof over someone’s head, we help people rebuild their lives and regain their independence.
Debra Stevenson, Chief Executive Officer of Emmaus Dover, said: “This anniversary is a significant milestone for us. Over the last 30 years, Emmaus Dover has supported many individuals in rebuilding their lives, and none of that would have been possible without the incredible support of our local community. We hope people will join us at our BBQ celebration so we can say thank you and mark this special occasion together.”
The Emmaus Dover free community BBQ takes place on Thursday, 12 June 11am-2pm at Emmaus Dover, Archcliffe Fort, Archcliffe Road, Dover, CT17 9EL.
