Tell us about your goods Donate furniture, electrical items and clothing We accept donations of good quality furniture. We can only take donations of sofas and chairs if they have a fire label, as otherwise we’re not allowed to sell them on. We can also arrange to collect large items from your home. Many of our Emmaus communities are able to PAT test electrical items for safety, which means, unlike a lot of charity shops, we can take donations of electrical items. We can accept all sorts of clothing and fabric donations, and we recycle anything we’re not able to sell on in our shops. We can also accept donations of books, records, CDs, bric-a-brac, china, glasswear and bicycles. We can only accept donations of soft furnishings if they have an intact fire safety label, otherwise we are not able to sell them on.

Large Items

Large items could include items such as wardrobes, beds, sofas, armchairs, chests of drawers, bicycles, and large electrical appliances etc

Smaller Items

Smaller items could include clothing, bric-a-brac, books, records, glassware, china and crockery and small to medium sized electrical goods.
Declaration I confirm that all soft furnishings have fire labels attached and I understand that goods need to be in a saleable condition and meet health and safety requirements.
