Emmaus Hull & East Riding is a vibrant and growing charity focussed on supporting people affected by homelessness. We don’t just offer a bed for the night; we offer a home for as long as someone needs it, as well as meaningful work in our social enterprises and a sense of belonging.
The Orchard is our purpose-built residential community building with 30 en-suite rooms for the people we support. Emmaus is unique in that the people we support – our companions – directly contribute within our community and social enterprise, gaining valuable skills, confidence and experience to help them achieve their personal goals.
The role will cover the management of support provided to companions so they can develop life skills and realise their full potential. We are looking for someone to ensure the community team delivers high support standards, developing a culture of inclusivity and empowerment.
You will have excellent people skills and proven experience supporting and developing people with complex needs to achieve their goals, using person-centered approaches. You will be able to lead by example, inspire others around you and empower people within their work.
