Emmaus UK is recruiting to the new role of High Value Partnerships Lead to support the expansion of the high-value giving portfolio. It’s an exciting and important time for our charity as we work to help more people out of homelessness and poverty as part of an ambitious strategy.
The newly created role of High Value Partnerships Lead will sit within the Fundraising and Influence directorate, to support the delivery of key charity and federation-wide objectives, as part of our mission to empower people affected by homelessness and poverty to change their lives for the better while using our voice to achieve social change.
This exciting new role will lead the strategic direction and expansion of the high-value giving portfolio, supporting the small team to nurture and grow our existing portfolio of partnerships across Trusts and Foundations and Corporate Partnerships, as well as developing our new major donor relationships.
As High Value Partnerships Lead, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the growth and development of new strategic partnerships. You will be able to understand programmatic priorities and use excellent communication skills to develop compelling cases for support.
Working with the Director of Fundraising and Influence you will develop and implement a new high-level giving strategy and bring the strategy to life. Your relationship management skills will help to build our portfolio of high-value funders, helping us to grow sustainably to meet the increased demand for all of our services.
Emmaus is a unique, secular organisation supporting people affected by homelessness and social exclusion. There are currently over 30 Emmaus communities across the UK, stretching from Glasgow to Dover and Norfolk to South Wales, including three Emmaus groups working towards the development of services in their areas. Each Emmaus community provides a home, tailored support, training and work opportunities to the people they support – known as Emmaus companions. Collectively, the Emmaus federation supports more than 1,000 people with experience of homelessness.
