Emmaus Leeds operates a large second-hand furniture store which has a clothes and bric-a-brac department. In this role you will liaise with the Retail Supervisor, ensuring all items for sale are clean, correctly priced and displayed to their best advantage. You will also greet customers and offer them assistance to enhance their shopping experience.
To volunteer in this role, you will require these qualities:
- A willingness to work as part of a diverse team of people
- Creativity in the display of second-hand items
- Patience and a good sense of humour
- Ability to work under your own initiative
