CLOSING DATE: 19 February 2021 LOCATION: Emmaus Mossley SALARY: £21,000 per annum TYPE: Full-time, 40 hours per week

Emmaus Mossley is seeking to employ someone with online retail experience for the new position of Online Sales Co-ordinator.

Emmaus Mossley is a registered charity that offers a home, work and personal support to people who have experienced homelessness and social exclusion. At the heart of Emmaus Mossley are our companions – the people we support. Our charity’s main focus is on supporting people, providing a home for as long as someone needs it and meaningful work in our social enterprise.

The majority of our charity’s income is generated within our social enterprise. Our large Secondhand Superstore stocks a wide range of donated furniture, household items, clothes, books, music, vintage and upcycled products. With more people than ever shopping online and as we look to recover from the challenges of the past year, we are keen to grow our online sales.

The successful applicant will create, manage and maintain an efficient and profitable mix of online sales channels. We are looking for someone who is already familiar with a variety of online platforms including but not limited to eBay, Etsy, Gumtree, Depop, Facebook and Instagram. Working together with the Retail Manager, the Online Sales Co-ordinator will identify, research, price and track suitable stock, prepare goods for sale online, package and post sold items, and deliver great customer service.

This is a full-time role, 40 hours per week, for a fixed-term period of one year. If the sales targets of this role are met or exceeded, we hope to be able to offer an extension to this contract. We offer a range of employee benefits including an auto-enrolment pension, 25 days per year annual leave plus Bank Holidays, and individually tailored induction, training and development.
