Free charity furniture collection from your home or business in Oxford and surrounding areas, for large items too big for your car.

You can book a collection online or give us a call on 01865 763698 to tell us about it and we’ll book in a time to collect.

This area includes Abingdon, Bampton, Bicester, Burford, Casterton, Chinnor, Chipping Norton, Didcot, Kidlington, Oxford, Thame, Wallingford, Wantage, Watlington, Witney and Woodstock.

What furniture can we collect?

We collect clean, re-sellable sofas, wardrobes, dining sets, tables, chairs, white goods (fridges/freezers etc), beds, chests of drawers, dressers and other large pieces of furniture. Unfortunately we’re unable to collect upholstered furniture such as sofas, chairs and beds without a valid fire label. We are also unable to accept gas appliances or any item that is not in a saleable condition. If you are donating a large number of items we may need to make a charge; please see our house clearance service information.

Every furniture collection helps fight homelessness

Items are then re-sold in our Emmaus Oxford store in Cowley, to raise funds for your local homelessness charity Emmaus Oxford.

Gift Aid it

Gift Aid increases the value of your donations and means charities can benefit even more at no extra cost to you.

If you are a UK taxpayer, kindly agree to Gift Aid whenever you make a donation either over the phone or when we come to collect.  Emmaus Oxford will take care of the rest and reclaim the basic rate of tax on the resale price of your donation – that’s a whooping 25p for every £1 we make on the sale of your donated item.  We are happy to provide further details on request and will also go through the detail with you at the point that you offer a donation.
