Like many other business, charities and individuals, Emmaus Oxford is trying to figure out how to keep going in the face of Coronavirus.
We’re taking all the steps we need to keep the homeless people we support, our staff and our volunteers safe.
We’re also asking for your help. We rely on our charity store to keep our charity running. As we all follow government advice, there are still some steps today which you could take to really help us get through this difficult time:
We will continue to take donations, but we’re arranging for a drop off zone so we can all keep our social distance. So if you have household goods of any kind, please consider taking them to our store – they will make a huge difference to our income over the coming months! Our store is at 242 Barns Road, Cowley, Oxford, OX4 3RQ. If you want to check how the drop off will work, please call us on 01865 763 698.
2. Shop online!
As more and more customers will stay at home, we are increasing our online shopping options. Please check out our listings on eBay, Gumtree and DePop. We will be adding many more items in coming days.
3. Donate money
We’re facing some really tough times and we want to keep on helping the homeless people who live and work with us. If you can, please make a financial donation. A gift of any size makes a huge difference to our small charity.
