The wait is over. We are thrilled to announce that our Emmaus Oxford Store (at 242 Barns Road, Cowley) is now reopened.
Our opening hours are:
Monday – Saturday 9.30am – 5pm
Sunday 10am – 4pm
Keeping everyone safe whilst shopping
Please avoid visiting our charity shop if you or members of your household have been experiencing COVID-19 symptoms.
In order to give everyone a pleasant, safe experience, we have a new one-way system in our shop to aid social distancing, and are limiting numbers of customers at any one time. We’d be grateful if customers avoided visiting in large groups please.
Our changing rooms are closed until further notice.
We’ve also installed hand sanitising stations for customer use.
We have carried out a rigorous risk assessment with new cleaning measures in place, a new queuing system and perspex screens at our tills. We are asking customers to pay by card if possible.
Donate items for resale
Thank you for wanting to donate your unwanted household goods.
Before bringing your items to donate at our store, please call our team on 01865 763698. This is to make sure we can accept your offered items. We’re taking extra precautions to sanitise items and this means we’re currently very limited on storage space.

Front-of-property Delivery Service
Our usual home delivery service (for an additional fee) is still available if you purchase a larger item. We won’t enter your home but instead are able to deliver no closer than two metres from the front of your property. Our van drives all around the local area, up to a maximum distance of 20 miles.
