On Thursday 21 July, Emmaus Salford companions Greg, Darren, Stephen and Ozzy and staff member Victoria enjoyed a day out to the Royal Horticultural Society Tatton Park Flower Show.
Our group had a great day, exploring the many show gardens, exhibits and prize-winning produce. Throughout this year’s show, there were lots of great examples of reuse which fits perfectly with the Emmaus ethos. Companions came back with many ideas and inspiration for our own community garden here at Emmaus House. This group trip was kindly supported by the Emmaus UK Companion Training Fund.
