On Monday 11 July, Emmaus Salford companions, volunteers, trustees and staff enjoyed tasty food, music and the opportunity to socialise together in the lovely warm weather.
Our summer BBQ was a social event bringing together the whole Emmaus Salford community but also a chance to say thank you to everyone who directly contributes to our charity and social enterprises.
In the lead-up to our BBQ, the patio area at Emmaus House was given a fresh look, including a new communal table created by companion Mr B. Food was prepared in our community kitchen and donated by volunteers and trustees. Huge thanks to BBQ master Ian and all who helped to organise and make a fantastic community event.
