Emmaus Salford is calling on businesses across the community to join them in their Christmas Kindness Appeal. This festive season, Emmaus Salford is striving to bring holiday cheer to over 250 local families who rely on Lucie’s Pantry, the organisations social supermarket, by providing each family with a £10 supermarket voucher and a few festive treats.

As families struggle to cope with rising costs, this initiative seeks to ease their burden and offer a little extra comfort during what should be a joyful time of year. Emmaus Salford invites local businesses to contribute toward reaching this ambitious goal. Every donation received will directly fund these vouchers, bringing much-needed relief and holiday spirit to families throughout Salford.

“While Christmas is a time for celebration and joy, we know that for many families, it can be a season of stress and hardship,” said Jackie Smith, the Chief Executive of Emmaus Salford. “With our Christmas Kindness Appeal, we hope to make a positive impact in the lives of families who are struggling financially by providing them with a little extra help this holiday season. We’re calling on our community, especially local businesses, to help us spread kindness and compassion this Christmas.”

Businesses and individuals can donate directly via Emmaus Salford’s website at https://emmaus.pleasecheck.me/salford/christmas-kindness-vouchers/, where they can make a secure online donation. Contributions of any amount are welcomed, and every pound raised goes directly to helping local families in need.

In addition to monetary contributions, Emmaus Salford welcomes companies to explore other ways to get involved, whether through volunteer efforts, in-kind donations, or fundraising initiatives.
